This website is operated by Maurice James L.L.C-FZ, a company registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“Maurice James”, “we”, “us”, “our”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. what we collect

This is a pre-launch site. We only collect:

• Information you give us when you register your interest: your email address, and the date and time you submitted the form (as a record of your consent).
• Technical information handled automatically by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site — such as your IP address and browser type — in standard server logs. This page does not use analytics or advertising cookies (see Section 4).

We do not collect payment details, and we do not knowingly collect any special-category or sensitive data through this page.

3. how we use your information, and our legal bases

We use your information to:

• Register your interest and notify you when Maurice James launches or when early access becomes available — on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
• Send you occasional updates about our launch and services, where you have asked to hear from us — on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Operate, secure and improve the site and understand how it is used — on the basis of our legitimate interests.

We will not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects about you.

4. cookies and analytics

This pre-launch page does not set analytics or advertising cookies, and does not use a cookie banner. Only the minimal technical processing needed to serve the page and handle your registration takes place. If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and provide the appropriate controls first.

5. who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us run this site and communicate with you — for example our website hosting and, when we begin sending updates, our email platform — who process data on our instructions under appropriate agreements.
• Authorities or advisers where we are required to by law, or to protect our legal rights.

6. international transfers

We operate from the UAE and our service providers may be located in other countries, including the UK, EU and elsewhere. Where your data is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data-protection law.

7. how long we keep it

We keep your registration data until our launch and for a reasonable period afterwards to contact you about our services, or until you ask us to delete it or withdraw your consent — whichever is sooner. Technical/analytics data is retained for a limited period in line with our analytics settings.

8. how we protect it

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No online transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

9. your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and, for UK/EU residents, the UK GDPR / EU GDPR), you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or delete it;
• object to or restrict our use of it;
• withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out);
• request a copy of your data in a portable format; and
• lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority (for example, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, or the relevant authority in your country).

10. children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be posted on this page.
